In the context of a project to document, for a newly appointed CEO of a manufacturing company, what happens with the company’s products from the beginning of their life to the end of their life, this Chapter describes the first week of a two-week sub-project of As-Is Process Mapping of the Product Portfolio Management, Ideation, Definition, Realisation, Support of Use, and Retirement and Recycling phases of the product lifecycle. The phases’ activities, documents, applications, issues and improvement suggestions are outlined.
