Following an initial project phase involving interviews with more than 130 people, this Chapter describes the preparation of the next phase of a project to document, for a newly appointed CEO of a manufacturing company, what happens with the company’s products from the beginning of their life to the end of their life. The activities of the phase are planned, and a cross-functional team built with representatives from each of the company’s sites.
