A more comprehensive literature review of research on prosodic disambiguation can be found especially in Cutler et al. (1997) or Schafer et al. (2000: 138–141). Cooper and Paccia–Cooper’s (1980) monograph is, perhaps, the most thorough work on the phonetic characteristics of ambiguous strings.
