Cracking and Hydrocracking

Catalysts used in catalytic cracking has been greatly improved in efficiency and size, which can be fluidized as fluid catalytic cracking (FCC). Hydrocracking achieves conversion with catalysts in the presence of excess hydrogen. As with FCC, isoparaffins are produced preferentially.
