Safety and the Environment
摘要
Natural gasNatural gas, crude oils, and their products are flammable, even explosive. They contain a large number of compounds, both organic and inorganic, that pollute the environment if not handled properly. In this chapter, the history of environmental and safety regulations are discussed, and several major incidents are described. Hopefully, lessons from these incidents will prevent future occurances of similar incidents.
