摘要

The purpose of this chapter is to discuss international students’ unique stressors and challenges related to their overall well-being, and the cultural backgrounds and stereotypes that educators and student affairs personnel who work with international students need to consider. By presenting how their unique cultural backgrounds, stereotypes, and stigmas impact the well-being of international students, we will provide insights into what international students experience on U.S. college campuses, and how student affairs professionals can help and support them by employing a culturally sensitive approach to well-being.
