Study 3: Perceptions of Frontline Staff Members (Survey)

The objective of study 3 was to explore the views of employees on BWVs and to predict the proclivity towards BWVs based on multiple factors identified in the literature as pertinent for employees (research question 4). We employed two methods: a representative survey of all frontline staff with access to BWVs and a series of focus groups to gauge a clearer understanding of the possible link between BWVs and workplace violence. Thus, a cross-sectional survey with both close- and open-ended questions was administered directly to participants.
