Proteus Based Automatic Irrigation System

The Traditional agricultural strategies are not satisfactory to cope with food security. This field must benefit from latest technologies. Automatic irrigation is one of the most promising solution to maintain food security; recently, there is a growing interest in this system around the world. It has become possible to establish self-contained decision-making systems that monitor various phenomena by relying on wireless sensor networks, with the possibility of connecting them to the Internet. The object behind this work, is to develop an automatic irrigation system based on DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, and Arduino microcontroller. The system is tested using Proteus simulation software and the obtained results were satisfactory.
