Fresh Approaches

Having undertaken this wide-ranging review, we can now offer a perspective on the current state of research related to coronal heating. Necessarily subjective, and intentionally thought-provoking, some may find the words uncomfortable reading, but the sentiments are sincere and based upon years of experience, observations and community interactions. They are written in the hope that researchers might benefit from our experience, our mistakes, and be able to make up their own minds concerning future work.
