‘It’s Giving … Colonization’: Challenges to Mental Resilience for Diasporic Christian Pacific Youth

This chapter reflects on the pressures and challenges being faced by diasporic Pacific youth. Organizing her reflections around an episode of the popular podcast The Uso Table Talk, the author examines ways in which Pacific churches can inhibit the flourishing and relational wellbeing of youth. Moreover, the author reflects on how these spaces can be decolonised and made more life-giving.
