Harnessing Partnerships and Technology to Establish a New Language Program in Cambodia
摘要
This chapter describes how a new MA in English program developed in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Set against the backdrop of a city undergoing rapid development and an institution with limited if dwindling means and support, the authors describe their participation in the development and implementation of curriculum. Highlighted are the search for alternative sources of support, the exploitation of technology, and the fortuitous collaboration of stakeholders involved. Also chronicled are the challenges faced, which hopefully would be instructive preventatively to future enterprises.
