摘要
Numerous scholars have praised the 2016 peace deal between the Colombian government of President Juan Manuel Santos and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia—People’s Army (FARC-EP) as a significant milestone in the area of conflict resolution. It has been praised for its creative and extensive provisions to address the underlying causes of the violence, it is considered comparatively more complex and comprehensive that any other recent peace agreement, and it was successful in bringing a political solution to one of the longest-running armed conflicts in the world.
