Action Phases
摘要
The purpose this chapter is to introduce temporal aspects of actions in more details including a discussion of their relations to causal roles of technical artefacts engaged in action. A theory of narratives is first introduced as a foundational conceptual framework for analysing the temporal unfolding of an action, and is then shown to be closely related to a model of action phases developed within engineering for safety analysis of technical artefacts.
