Local Ambazonian Resistance to German Colonization
摘要
History repeats itself. German colonization in Africa left a lasting impact in each territory. This is particularly so in what was Deutsches Kamerun. Certain aspects of German colonization in that territory were maintained by the British and French successor colonialists to the Germans and were subsequently adopted and maintained by the post-colonial state. To begin with, the end of German colonial rule did not entail the abolition of the violence-based system of governance introduced in the German colonies.
