Effective Sludge Management in the Petroleum and Chemical Sector
摘要
Crude oil is the raw substance extracted straight from oil wells. In contrast, petroleum is the purified version of crude oil suitable for fractional distillation to produce various petroleum products. Crude oil is a blend of hydrocarbons found in liquid form in subsurface reservoirs and maintains its liquid state during extraction. Petroleum products are derived from refining crude oil at petroleum refineries and extracting liquid hydrocarbons at natural gas processing facilities. Petroleum is a comprehensive classification that encompasses both crude oil and petroleum products. The phrases “oil” and “petroleum” are sometimes used synonymously.
