摘要

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are being developed in various fields; however, we face the shortage of AI specialists. Talented person in the learning of AI, it is important to understand not only AI algorithms but also how AI should be used. Nowadays university education is increasingly providing opportunities to learn an AI, and many students are exposed to AI. However, while there are opportunities to learn the theory, there are few opportunities to apply an AI to a practical application. Therefore, we proposed a class program combining AI and robotics for the first-year undergraduate students in the Faculty of Engineering, in order to develop human resources who have equipped themselves not only with AI-related theory but also with the methods of application and utilization of AI. The objective of this class is to have students actually use AI and learn it practically. In the class, students create an object detection AI model and control the drone's movement by triggering various motion patterns corresponding to the type of detected objects.
