Synthesis of Contact in Loaded Multi-pair Gears with a Big Contact Ratio
摘要
The express method of synthesis of a loaded multipair contact in a gear is considered, based on the application of models of a conjugated gearing and modified tooth surfaces, including their differential characteristics, as well as on the application of simplified models for estimating tooth contact and bending deformations. The method contains points of entering into and exit from the meshing, positions of which are assigned relative to edges of teeth (usually end faces). Modification values at these points are the values of the necessary elastic movement at other contact points at the same phase. An iterative algorithm is proposed for finding the optimal solution for a given loading torque or contact stress, which has four levels of iterations with specification of the position and size of the contact pattern in directions along and across the tooth and the level of the acting load. The effectiveness of the algorithm is shown on the example of calculating a spiroid gear with the contact ratio 3.
