摘要

This paper explores using natural materials such as cellulose fibers in developing robot parts due to their renewable and sustainable nature and excellent mechanical properties. We demonstrate the potential of cellulose fibers in developing robot structural components. However, challenges remain in developing cellulose-based robot parts, including the need for improved processing techniques to optimize mechanical properties and durability. To develop sustainable robotics systems, we also explore ways to design robots that can interact with humans long-term, using the slow technology approach. We propose a software architecture for long-term use. Finally, the robot life cycle assessment is proposed, as well as future directions for development.
