Creation of an Adaptive Gear Variator (Stepless CVT) and Study of Its Quality Indicators

  • Konstantin Ivanov

摘要

The subject of the study is a two-moving gear mechanism with a single input, which can adapt to a variable output load without a control system. The possibility of the existence of such a mechanism, in which the number of inputs is not equal to the number of degrees of freedom, was presented earlier at the previous IFToMM congress. The adaptive gear variator performs the functions of CVT but is a continuously variable self-adjusting transmission. The transformation of a two-moving chain into a definable mechanism is based on the addition of a fundamentally new force-speed constraint. The transformation of a two-moving chain into a definable mechanism is based on the introduction of a fundamentally new force-velocity constraint. Force -speed constraint (for example, frictional) imposes a force restriction on the relative movement of the connected links but retains their relative mobility. In this case, a two-moving kinematic chain acquires a fundamentally new property of force adaptation to a variable load. The task of the study is to prove the definability of the motion of an adaptive gear variator and to study its qualitative indicators. A definable two-moving kinematic chain will undoubtedly have fundamentally new properties.
