摘要

Tourism has become one of the most important industries and with the greatest potential for growth, offering products and services, investment opportunities but, above all, the creation of jobs, direct and indirect. Lately, in Romania, the tourism sector is perceived as an important catalyst for economic growth, offering great employment potential for both skilled and unskilled workers. Using this direction of development, both the growth of the national economy and the preservation of regional cultural heritage can be achieved. This sector, being predominantly a service sector, relies mainly on the workers in the system. Improving sales performance has a direct impact on increasing revenue margins and is a key driver of business strategy. Management's ability to optimize the distribution of the sales force for a given market niche creates the opportunity for the firm to achieve sales performance and, implicitly, revenue growth. This research uses dynamic modeling to simulate a sales model for an Industrial Theme Park, proposed to be developed in a mining perimeter in Romania. This model has the advantage of allowing the experimentation of alternative strategies for organizing the sales force and, as a result, the identification of that model that will lead to the achievement of the established performance indicators.
