Web of Data

When the Semantic Web was launched, there was already a vast amount of data hidden behind heterogeneous systems and data sources. The Linked Data and Linked Open Data (LOD) initiatives provided the bridge between those data and the Semantic Web. We briefly introduce the Linked Data and Linked Open Data principles and present an architecture from the literature for publishing Linked Data.
