Databases

While the modeling and representation of knowledge are important, storing it efficiently is also crucial. We briefly cover the development of database technology with a particular focus on different knowledge graph hosting paradigms. We briefly introduce relational databases, deductive and object-oriented databases, as well as “not only SQL” (NoSQL) solutions like document stores and graph databases.
