Design Navi

The main subject here is Design Navi, an optimal design method invented by combining FPT and orthogonal tables. This method was granted a US patent in 1999 and a Japanese patent in 2002, but the patents have expired more than 20 years after the filing date, so it can be used freely now. In other words, Design Navi is such a reliable method that it has been granted a patent. Until now, we have called it the Nakazawa MethodNakazawa method”, but since this name makes it difficult to understand its contents, we will call it Design NaviDesign Navi” in this book.
