Interest Groups: An Imperfect Impact
摘要
This chapter aims at answering the following questions: Why AIPAC succeeds or fails to shape US foreign policy in the Middle East and North Africa, under which circumstances and using which strategies? The analysis focuses on the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama in the light of two important issues pertaining to US foreign policy in the MENA area and AIPAC’s agenda. That is to say, the Arab-Israeli conflict and the Iran nuclear program.
