Transforming Parkinson’s Disease Care: Cloud Service Empowered by ServiceNow Technology

This chapter introduces a cloud-based service leveraging ServiceNow technology for the management and analysis of accelerometer data collected via a specially designed bracelet worn by PD patients. The chapter delineates the seamless flow of data from the bracelet to a mobile app and then to the ServiceNow platform, where it is securely stored and processed. It elaborates on the integration of a DL module within the ServiceNow platform, enabling continuous data processing and result updates. These updated results are made accessible through both a web application and a mobile app, ensuring convenience and accessibility for patients, healthcare professionals, and the broader PD community. The cloud-based nature of the service guarantees scalability, security, and effortless updates. Overall, this chapter serves as a testament to the successful implementation of a cloud service employing ServiceNow technology to benefit PD patients.
