Preparation of Solutions and Buffers

This laboratory exercise consists of preparing a variety of solutions and dilutions, using the background information and calculation principles covered in Chap. 2 and 3 of the lab manual. The solutions prepared are some of those specified in other laboratory exercises in the lab manual. Also introduced in this chapter is use of a pH meter to adjust the pH of a buffer.
