Main Transfer Functions of the Circuits

摘要

In this chapter, passive component-based voltage, current, transimpedance and transadmittance-mode first-order, second-order, and high-order filter transfer functions (FTFs) will be treated in detail. In the filter realizations, resistors, capacitors, and inductors are used. First-order FTFs can be mainly divided into three subcategories, low-pass filter (LPF), high-pass filter (HPF), and all-pass filter (APF). Further, second-order and high-order FTFs can be mainly separated into five subgroupings, LPF, HPF, APF, band-pass filter (BPF), and notch filter. Combinations of resistors, capacitors, and inductors implement all the FTFs. A fourth-order single-input single-output voltage-mode BPF is finally given as an example.
