Field Tests and Analysis of Flat Monolithic Reinforced Concrete Slabs
摘要
Flat slabs in frame buildings are designed in the form of a smooth solid slab, with capitals (column heads), smooth or with capitals and contour beams around the perimeter of the building, with intercolumnar beams in one or two directions. When designing slabs, engineers are faced with the chaotic arrangement of technological openings, the variable pitch of columns, the non-linear work (need to reduce the modulus of elasticity of concrete, which affects the overall rigidity of structures). Analyzing the results of the reinforcement of similar flat slabs by different designers (the same scheme of work, approximately the same spans and loads), the engineers made a decision about field tests to establish their reliability and compliance with current standards. I would also like to note the lack of study of the work of flat slabs resting directly on the columns and the lack of recommendations regarding the location of technological openings in the regulatory literature. Sections of flat slabs in the zones of the largest spans (6.0–6.6 m) of three residential buildings in Lviv were taken for testing. Based on the results of field tests and instructions given in the technical and normative literature, recommendations were developed for the selection of constructive solutions and reinforcement of flat monolithic reinforced concrete slabs.
