摘要

It was established that significant service life of pipes, exposure to aggressive environment, and overload from vehicles lead to deteriorating the technical condition of pipes. As a result, defects and damages, which require immediate elimination to ensure safe operation, develop in the pipes. The technology of strengthening a defective concrete pipe using a reinforcement frame and a metal clip with filling the space with concrete mortar is presented. Statistical experimental studies of the deformability of reinforced concrete pipe by a spatial reinforcement frame and a metal clip are carried out. It is established that reinforcement of a defective pipe with a reinforcement frame leads to increasing the pipe bearing capacity. The maximum amount of deformation of the pipe reinforced by a metal clip, at which the pipe was destroyed, was 6.61 mm. When reinforcing the defective pipe by a reinforcement frame and a metal clip, it was found that the maximum amount of deformation at which the pipe was destroyed was 9.44 mm. It is found that reinforcement of a defective pipe with a reinforcement frame can be effectively used in practice in order to increase (restore) the bearing capacity of defective pipes operated on roads and railways.
