Improving the Efficiency of Using Water Resources for the Production of Electricity in Market

摘要

According to the methods of calculating the flow of floods, which is based on the characteristics of the flood wave and the mode of filling the reservoir, calculations and recommendations for early operation of water through hydroelectric turbines when passing floods of different security. The method is designed to effectively pass flood waters and reduce the maximum discharge costs through the hydro. The introduction of the method when calculating the flow of floods will avoid idle water discharges through the spillways of the hydroelectric power plant and the most efficient use of flood water resources, which is especially relevant in today's market conditions. Modern technologies of electricity production using water resources have been studied and the possibilities of improving the efficiency of these technologies in market conditions have been determined. The problems of restoration of water resources are considered and the ways of their solution are proposed. The results of the study can be useful for companies engaged in the production of electricity using water resources, as well as for government bodies that regulate this branch of industry.
