摘要

The purpose of the study is the analysis of stress in concrete and reinforcement of a RC beam by the finite element method (FEM) software complex. The current state and trends in the direction of restoration and strengthening of the compressed zone of RC beams in buildings and structures were analyzed, as well as scientific works that investigated the influence and behavior of RC beams in the formation of deep cracks and splitting of concrete in the compressed zone with a decrease in the height of compressed concrete beams. Reinforcement of a RC beam can be done by a large number of methods and approaches, but for each beam it is necessary to apply the most appropriate and practical one, depending on the reinforcement. For this, it is necessary to analyze the physical nature of a RC beam in a large range when its compressed zone is destroyed. After modeling in Femap and receiving results from NX Nastran solvers, it was visually demonstrated how the stress in concrete and reinforcement increases sharply approaching the limit value when the compressed zone of concrete is reduced by 50 mm. This research is an urgent problem and a significant direction of scientific development, which has significant advantages in the construction industry and requires constant additional research and scientific development for improvement.
