Numerical Simulation of the Anti-explosion Performance of Honeycomb Structures Based on RKPM

To study the impact resistance performance of honeycomb structures, in this paper, the reproducing kernel particle method (RKPM) is adopted to simulate the dynamic response of the honeycomb structure under a strong impact load. Firstly, the three-point bending problem is simulated, the numerical result is compared with the experimental result, and the accuracy and stability of the current numerical method are verified. Under the condition of the same mass and same cellular diameter, the impact resistance of two typical honeycomb structures perpendicular to the outer plate and parallel to the outer plate is studied.
