Study on 18 inch Export Pipeline Route Selection of Lingshui17-2 Project

摘要

Lingshui17-2 gas field is located in the northern part of Qiongdongnan Basin in the western continental shelf of the northern South China Sea. The paper studies the deepwater export pipeline design of Lingshui17-2 Project, the pipeline is 18 inch, which route profile changes from 1400 to 90 m, and on the route, which passes one slope, the vertical height changes from 1000 to 200 m within short horizontal distance. The paper mail focuses on three points, one is how to establish the final route with 3D software to cope with some irregular seabed areas. The other is to choose and establish the pipe-soil interaction characters’ and the final pipeline route, using one Improved Monte Carlo Method (IMCM), after the overall probability difference, for the adjacent borehole points are differentiated again, and the numerous borehole points are summarized as reasonable limited engineering input soil parameters, which reduces the cost of engineering development and analysis. The third point is force on span mitigation method in the project, different methods are carried out for deepwater section and short water section, and for soft soil sections and hard point sections.
