Overview of Structural Decision Diagrams

This chapter presents a short history of the development of decision diagrams and compares the traditional BDDs, here referred to as functional BDDs, with the proposed new type of structural DDs. We classify the latter as logic-level Structurally Synthesized BDDs (SSBDD) and High-Level structural BDDs (HLDD).
