Triple Bottom Line of Sustainability and Value Creation

Production and manufacturing are explored alongside Sustainable Development Goals in this chapter. Sustainable development goals (SDG) indicators and an engineering viewpoint are used to outline three pillars of sustainability in manufacturing. Information about how to use the business model canvas and generate value is presented. Principles for analyzing stakeholders and incorporating sustainability into the company strategy are also covered. An example of the airline industry is provided to show the applications.
