Surgery for Advanced-Stage Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (Stages III and IV)
摘要
Treatment for advanced-stage lung cancer requires a multimodality approach. Surgical resection is considered in selected patients with advanced tumors invading adjacent structures, with ipsilateral mediastinal nodal disease, and with solitary brain metastasis. For advanced-stage lung cancer, tumor response to neoadjuvant therapy is prerequisite for surgical intervention.
