Pulmonary Resection, Approaches and Techniques
摘要
Pulmonary resection is the most common procedure performed by thoracic surgeons. It varies in the degree of difficulty from simple wedge to complex sleeve resections. As clinical circumstances will dictate which specific surgical procedure is required, thoracic surgeons must be proficient in performing all types of pulmonary resection. Lobectomy has long been the standard for anatomic lung resection; however, sublobar resection is suitable for select early-stage lung cancer.
