Conclusion
摘要
The final section of the book systematizes the many conclusions one may arrive at on the function and nature of impeachments. It explains the awkward but inevitable tension between law and politics that is so typical of this mechanism and gives a tangible delineation of what it means to say that impeachments are political, from multiple contexts and perspectives. It answers the questions posed by the book in relation to English impeachments, US American impeachments, and Latin American impeachments. The chapter, moreover, offers a framework of analysis that can be used to fully understand impeachments, as well as to responsibly assess their legitimacy.
