Mechanisms of Immune Resistance

Relapse represents one of the main unsolved issues in allogeneic HCT, prompting research on its underlying mechanisms. Growing evidence support the hypothesis that in many patients relapse is driven by immune changes in cancer cells and in the supporting microenvironment, abrogating the graft-versus-tumor effect.
