As Newman and Richmond rightly put it, peace processes have become endlessly long-standing and cyclical negotiations. They also state that in such cases, concessions are difficult to make, which makes these processes so fragile that they may fail at the implementation phase even if the parties reach compromise. However, we should note here that they may also fail during the process.
