Measure

Measuring the key ingredients (i.e., KPI) that relate to the defined problem is the fundamental element of the measure phase. Such elements of measure include the use of statistics on measured data, data collection and sampling techniques, surveying, data collection planning, charts, diagrams, takt time, gage measurement analysis, overall equipment effectiveness, and defect related calculations.
