Design and Test of Dynamic Vibration Absorbers

This book provides a practical guide to understanding and designing dynamic vibration absorbers. Most of the material has been developed based on the authors' years of solving vibration problems using dynamic vibration absorbers and years of educating practicing engineers on the basic principles and techniques of dynamic vibration absorber design. Several case studies are presented of past successful designs. The book ends with instructions on building low-cost hardware demonstrations of both tuned mass dampers and vibration absorbers.
