Synthesis: Managing Enterprises at the Grassroots
摘要
Entrepreneurship in developing countries has an economic motivation and it is taken up as a livelihood to enhance the quality of life and social values. Broadly, social value is dynamic, and customer-centriccustomer-centric firms periodically monitor the perpetual changes in social values, culture, and ethnicity. The bottom-line of the entrepreneurship is social and stakeholder engagementengagement to achieve expected outcomes. An effective, convergent business strategy, therefore, creates social and customer values by coevolving the business model and entrepreneurial brands in the society. The connecting thread between society and business consists in developing cognitive ergonomics among the stakeholders and stimulating co-creationco-creation of business design while co-creationco-creation allows enterprises to tap the skillsskills and insights of stakeholders and develop new ways of building value chain. This chapter discusses the bottom-line of entrepreneurship, its transitional journey to contemporary business environment, and convergence among the market, society, and embedded values.
