Entrepreneurial Behavior

Artisanal pedigree is an evolutionary map of the entrepreneurs, their skill development, and the growth of entrepreneurial firms over temporal and spatial dimensions. This chapter discusses the artisanal pedigree in the context of the evolution of entrepreneurship with in the vertical and horizontal domains as a cause and effect of leadership, decision processes and strategies, gender perspectives, economic dependencies (on financial programs, subsidies, infrastructure, and marketing support), and impetus for exploring opportunities and growth. Entrepreneurial mindset can be understood in terms of thoughts, feelings, and actions, implying thinking, feeling, and action in the entrepreneurship process. The principal elements of entrepreneurial behavioral mindset comprising business focus, creativity, effective implementation, social networking, resource leveraging, and mobilizing key partners determine the human element in enterprise management and are also discussed in this chapter.
