摘要

Herbal remedies have been practiced all over the globe for many years, but the prevalence of their use in India is significantly based on nanotechnology; it is necessary to make concessions about the drug distribution techniques observed. Herbal medicines have gained popularity as a therapy option due to their range of applications and lesser likelihood of adverse responses in comparison to traditional pharmaceuticals. This is because herbal medications can be used to treat various conditions. It is essential to develop novel nanodrug delivery to circumvent such low bioavailability, in vivo stability, liquid insolubility, intestinal uptake, and unspecific site of action. The incorporation of nanotechnology as a novel drug delivery system (NDDS) into conventional methods of medical practice has the potential to increase the efficacy of herbal medications in the treatment of chronic illnesses such as cancer and other fatal diseases. In order to effectively produce herbal medicine work based on nanotechnology, it is necessary to make concessions with regard to drug distribution techniques based on nanotechnology. This is essential whenever observed as a component of the global economy. This chapter emphasizes the present issues that herbal medicine practitioners are facing, as well as the ways in which these challenges might be overcome by utilizing new solutions.
