A Short Introduction on Ethnobotany in Syria

Syria is a Middle Eastern country, located north of the Arabian Peninsula and on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea between latitudes 32° 19 and 37° 25 degrees north, and longitudes 35° 43َ and 42° 25َ east. Syria is located on the borders of six countries, Turkey, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Iraq, and Jordan. According to statistics published by the World Bank, the population of Syria is estimated at about 22 million, of which 49.9% are female.
