Improved Stockwell Transform for Image Compression and Reconstruction
摘要
An important part of image processing is compression, which minimises the size and speed of image transmission and storage, while reconstruction helps to retrieve the original information. When an image is compressed, it takes up less space than the original. Reduces the size of a picture file while maintaining or improving its quality to the greatest extent possible. Even while wavelets are commonly referred to as an unique picture compression strategy, their output on smooth areas is insufficient, they are frequently referred to as such. Image reduction and reconstruction techniques have recently added Stockwell transformations. As a result, an Improved Stockwell Transform has been proposed in this paper, with a modification as a result of bandwidth partitioning and cutting.
