Introduction to the Second Edition
摘要
Medical imaging data is often used inefficiently, and this happens most often for patients with abnormal imaging who require a complex procedure. This book is about those patients, how their medical images undergo Computer Aided Design (CAD), and how that data can be 3D printed. The book is written for the caretakers—including the providers, engineers, referring physicians, and the book is written for students who want to learn about why we currently operate inefficiently, and what we can do to improve.
