Management of Truncular and Extratruncular Venous Malformations

The term venous dysplasia is no longer used. They belong to a group of slow-flow vascular malformations and can be subdivided into truncular, extratruncular, well-limited or diffuse lesions. Sometimes they are combined to other vascular malformations and are considered as a syndrome. Their clinical features, imaging and treatment strategies should be decided in a multidisciplinary vascular anomalies clinic.
