摘要

Iliofemoral deep venous thrombosis (IFDVT) is a serious condition associated with short- and long-term physical and social sequelae for patients. Conservative treatment includes anticoagulation therapy and compression stockings. In the last decade minimally invasive endovascular treatments have gained popularity and emerged to address IFDVT causes and complications. This chapter evaluates the efficacy and safety of endovascular treatments, including catheter-directed thrombolysis, percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy, pharmacomechanical thrombectomy, and venous stenting. It also considers patient selection, procedural aspects, and potential complications. Findings from clinical trials, observational studies, and case series will be synthesized to determine the most effective and safe treatment approach.
